JAZZ | We found our Jazz in Montana. I did some research because we enjoyed our Tana so much we wanted to get a Standard Poodle pup that was related. The people that we got her from were no longer breeding Standard Poodles but told us of a lady in montana that had a relative of Tana's as her Standard Poodle stud. He had the same father. We checked out her female and all her dogs were wonderful dogs. They had all had all thier tests and were very healthy. Her Standard Poodle pups were raised in the home and not in kennels. This was important to us. All her Standard Poodles were treated as part of the family. We were so impressed we picked out our new Standard Poodle pup and took her home. |
Well, I finally got some more time and can continue the story of our Standard Poodles. We thoroughly enjoyed Jazz and taught her to sit and fetch by the time she was 9 weeks old. She went everywhere with us. My mom did not think she would like her as well as Tana (our previouse Standard Poodle) but soon came to believe Standard poodles are all intelligent dogs. Although Jazz has a differant personality she is just as lovable and well behaved as Tana was. We enjoy kayaking and Jazz got her first kayaking adventure on flat water. We have Ridde-on-top kayaks and Jazz rides with me most of the time. We haven't done any heavy white water with her but she enjoys floating the Okanogan River and exploring the local lakes. She lays up front on the bow and looks like the Princes of the Nile. Jazz has taken several road trips with us and we find she is welcome almost every where we go.
