We invite the new families of puppies to write and send pictures. If you don't mind we would like your email address so interested families can learn about our Standard Poodle puppies directly from their new families.

This is Jack, (otherwise known as None Boy)frpm the first litter with his new Family.

This Family was a pleasure to work with. The Children had never owned a pup before and were a little stand offish of dogs other than thier grand parents Standard poodle. When they came to me with a reqest for a shy dog for four young children I suggested a shy dog might be frightend of the kids and not bond to them. After Mrs. Connors explaned her childrens personalities and the fact they were timid of dogs I agreed None boy would be the dog for them. I was so glad to recieve the picture and a note from the Connors that I was told I could share with you.

They wrote: "This is our 5 month old baby, Jack. We were looking for a dog that was good with kids and as you can see he is everything we hoped for. Even as a puppy, he is gentle, obedient and loves our family. We take him everywhere. Our family would not be the same without him. Thank you! The Connors Family"

It fills my heart with joy to see a dog so loved and that I could help make it possible. Mrs. Connors said I could give out her email address if anyone would like to find out more about my puppies from her point of view. chadcathy@aol.com

Here are letters from families of the second litter:

Big Red (male):

Diane and Scott,

We want to thank you so much for the good home background you provided for Duke. He is happy and completely adjusted after just 3 days. He was perfectly mellow from the first night we got him home. He seemed to look around a bit for his "family", both dog and people, the first day but his attitude was one of curiosity rather than being upset. I will admit he had little time to be sad as our kids and grand kids descended over the day on Saturday. He went to the Vet and received a clean bill of health. He has one poorly aligned baby tooth and a slight bit of bacteria in one ear. He just sits and calmly lets us put drops in his ears.

He went on his first client run on Monday. He was a perfect gentleman in the two offices as we worked. He has only had two accidents and is beginning to go to the door and bark when he wants out. He is outgoing, but calm, with everyone he meets. We thank you for the background and socialization you have provided him. He is a super pup and is going to be a great adult companion.

Scott & Diane:

Thought you might like to see a picture of Duke, taken just a couple of days ago. He is 16 weeks (tomorrow) and is a wonderful puppy. At his visit to the Vet today he was declared to be in excellent health and weighed in at a cool 33.2 pounds. He eats like a horse and drinks alot of water. He has learned to sit, shake hands, lie down and roll over, all on command. Duke loves to ride in the car and as we had hoped, is becoming our constant companion. He is sleeping through the night now, so those mid-night and
three AM
trips to the front yard seem to be a thing of the past.

Let us know if we can give you a recommendation.

Thought you might like to have a photo of Duke as he celebrates his 8 month birthday tomorrow. He had grown into a very loving and loyal pet -- and, a very big one. Duke is 24 inches at the shoulder and weighs in at 62 pounds. They tell me he will probably continue to grow for another 6 to 8 months.

Thanks for the great start you gave him. All our family members think he is great!

Best Regards, Art Gunderman & Mary Jo Stewart

Printsess (female)

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever?  We love her and thank you every day. Jim and Gretchen

Thank you so very much for giving our Printcess Phoebe such a wonderful start in life.  She missed you all most of the way home, and in the evening she looks for her home place to lie down in.  She is an amazingly well behaved little creature - she walks well on her leash and sort of comes when called.  She thinks carpet might be "outside" but has only made a couple of mistakes.  She is wonderful with our grandchildren.  She loves the lakeshore and spent a lot of time today sliding down a mossy bank, like an otter, with our grandson, We do see why they need to be cut.  What a gentle, fun soul she is - and a love.  We hope we sleep one of these nights - we have tried putting her to bed in our room in a crate and she objects very loudly.  She will have us totally trained before long.

If I ever have time to do anything again I will send you some pictures of Phoebe in her new home.  We treasure the picture of her with Jazz and Kane.  We really appreciate the poodle care booklet you took the time to put together as well as her family tree.  Thank you for everything - she is a wonderful addition to our family.  I will be in touch again before long.

Gretchen

Oh, the vet wants us to wait until her last shots to get her trimmed - until then - fuzzy face!

AFTER PHOEBE'S FIRST GROOMING
I just recieved this beautiful picture of Phoebe from Gretchen. Remember this beautiful dog was born August of 2006 and this is April of 2007. Thank you Gretchen for giving this pup such a wonderful home and keeping me and others informed of her progress.

Happy Girl

We love our puppy!  We bought Happy Girl and we named her Roxy.  I wanted a name that would match her mother, Jazz.  So, I went with the movie/broadway play Chicago with the title song “All that Jazz” and named our girl Roxy who is the main character in the movie.  I’ve attached a picture of her.  My kids, Tyler, Haley and Kyle all love and dote on her.  She gets along with our other standard poodle, Cassie and our cat, Oreo.  We couldn’t be happier with her!

Thank you so much

Purple Boy

(no Picture)

 Hi Diane,

Just wanted you to know that purple boy (Magic) adjusted very easily to being with us. He slept very well and no crying. He is walking well on his leash and playing when not sleeping. My sister took some photos last night and I will send them to you and you can pick which you want. (I will enclude them when I recieve them)

Just wanted you to know that I thought the photo of Jazz and Kane with him was such a loving gift. I am going to frame it and put it up with our other photos.

Talk to you soon

Donna

Diane was wonderful to deal with and Magic(Purple Boy) has the temperament and personality that we wanted. He is a happy, loving, and playful pup. Obviously well cared for and surrounded with love.

Both Jazz and Kane are beautiful animals. No wonder they make such adorable and lovable puppies

Their bond with Diane is apparent.

Just a note to let you know I have now had Rose (second litter) a full year. What a wonderful dog, she is smart, does normal dog tricks and goes to work everyday with me. I work in physical therapy. Her job is to greet the patients and bring them to the gym or a treatment room. Patients love her and I have been told not to come to work if I don't bring Rose.
Thanks again for the wonderful job you are doing breeding Kane and Jazz
